Debi Wimberley is a visionary leader and advocate in medical Cannabis education and advocacy. Known for her dynamic approach, she collaborates with certified educators, health coaches, scientists, and medical professionals to provide fact-based, high-quality education to healthcare communities and individuals seeking alternative solutions. As the founder of Effective Cannabis and the Effective Cannabis Newsletter, Debi drives innovation and inclusion in the medical Cannabis conversation. Her efforts extend beyond the digital sphere, as demonstrated through her impactful public speaking engagements, including a TEDx talk, and her co-authored publication, ECHO This: Empowering Conversations of Hope and Opportunity.
After Debi Wimberley’s miraculous recovery from life-threatening, complex illnesses, she became a compassionate advocate for medical Cannabis. Its application eliminated her need for a 24-hour caregiver, constant oxygen, and 25 prescribed medications. Her success led her to become an enthusiastic advocate for Cannabis as medicine. Debi is known as the architect of health quality advocacy. The genesis of her platform, Effective Cannabis, began from Debi’s discovery that there was very little information on the benefits of medical Cannabis. She began to collect data and share patients’ stories.
From Effective Cannabis emerged the Effective Cannabis Newsletter, a collaborative monthly publication with contributions from certified medical Cannabis coaches, educators, physicians, and research scientists. The newsletter sheds light on plant medicine as a viable treatment option. Effective Cannabis Newsletter is designed to empower healthcare professionals, patients, and patient advocates by equipping them with notable information about medical Cannabis as medicine. Each issue highlights evidence that medical Cannabis is changing medical outcomes and improving quality of life.
