We know it is a very challenging journey to make the necessary lifestyle changes required to sustain your health and wellbeing. We hope to equip you with enough information to support you through your journey.

Co-founders Shazia Elahi & Berta Kaguako created this platform to to bring to light challenges faced in health and social care in the UK as well as, bring representation for ethnic majorities & women. Faced with their own health struggles, their journey towards improving their health and quality of life has shown them that a holistic and well-informed approach is the road to recovery.

The pandemic has changed a lot of things in modern society, however a crucial area, is the further devaluation of healthcare services in the UK. The UK, alongside the globe, experienced the pandemic and the devastating impact this had on people’s wellbeing as a whole. With an increase in people struggling with mental health; from 1 in 4 ppl to 1 in 3, and/or an increase in individuals struggling with chronic illnesses; either long-COVID, or deterioration in physical health due to COVID. The NHS and alternative healthcare providers are elongated with specialist referrals and limited manpower, to appropriately deliver services. This in turn results in millions of patients across the UK unable to access adequate healthcare services, due to either never-ending waiting lists, or not meeting the threshold for specialists’ intervention(s). As a result, patients are either not receiving the relevant treatment required, or there’s a significant delay in treatment, leading to further deterioration of one’s symptoms, health & lifestyle as a result.

We wish you a happy and healthy life.
